I love getting to know my families who reach out for Senior portraits and discovering their favorite places to go. This time? A field of wild flowers! As a photographer, places and smiles like these are why I fell in love with capturing images in the first place. I was so lucky to spend time and get to know this beautiful senior in one of the most naturally amazing locations. The golden hour light, and the vibrant colors created a dreamy atmosphere and framed our images magically.

Genevieve has grown up her whole life with a passion for nature and a love for the outdoors. She and her mom wanted her senior portraits to reflect her free spirit and her connection to the nature. She wore a soft pink flowy sundress, and black converse sneakers, so fun!! “She’s a little wildflower with a lot of warrior underneath.” Her quiet calm, and soft smile made every portrait feel authentic and alive.

Connecting with nature inspires me more than I can say. When you let me combine portraits AND nature in my photography, the best! Every senior has their own unique story, and being able to tell Genevieve’s through these images was an honor.

As I look back on the photos from that day, I know how lucky I am for the opportunity to do what I love and to create lasting memories for my clients. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the beauty of photography lies not just in the images themselves, but in the moments we capture…together.
